The bird feeder has been up for years. We've been hearing the Hermit Thrushes for years, finally today we got pictures of one. They are one of the birds near the bedroom window that wake us up in the morning.

Elsewhere at the feeders,
Chipping sparrow

Dark eyed Junco

American Goldfinch

White Throated Sparrow (The O'Canada bird.)
Nice photos Norm

Recent forest photos.

Beside the creek with the K-3 and DA 18-135
Tripper left his ball back at Beech Tree Corners, and had to attack sticks instead.

IN the creek

When you re looking for a tennis ball in the forest, most the balls you see are not tennis balls.

Can't wait until this Coronavirus is over so we can get back to our lives. Be safe everyone!

Alice In Chains - Notice how back lit it is and this was not an easy shoot because of that. K3 did well.

So we finally had some nice weather and I had some time to explore the backyard. I was reminded that this macro thing ain't exactly easy, but a couple of hours later, I did at least have this. (D-FA 100mm WR plus Raynox DCR-250, X-Posted to Show Me Your Insects)

<GRUMBLE> Tulips past their prime, indeed. We still have patches of ice on the garden.
