Next time you do something like this how about naming the actual files to reflect your posting. I have two 27" monitors here and got the damned files mixed up...

Voted #1 as K3.

Finer resolution probably captured more of the CA defect which remained on the railings when resized.
Its also more detailed.
K3 is 'supposed' to have a better WB?? (file #2 sky blue looks nice, but overall pic becomes casted bluish)
File#2 has more obvious noise, likely so on a file at 100% compared to one that is downsampled. (so K5IIs)

If I am wrong, then PENTAX IS DOOMED!!!

Edit : Ok, now that I've read Jay's post, I think "I am DOOMED.. to spend $$$"

Not sure what lens this was, but probably could have chosen a better one for a test like this. I'd say file one (E.jpg) is the K-3.

File 1 is the K3, simply because you wanted to use that camera first. Then you put the lens on the K5 IIs and begrudgingly took one shot before dropping it back in the camera bag, so you could continue for the rest of the day with the K3. I should have been a detective....

I would say file two is the K-3 because of the colder AWB.

I agree with you Nick on file two being the K-3

Now, Adam, I'd like to see a couple ISO 6400 shots taken/processed the same way! I think the K-3 will shine there as well, but I'd like to see.

I can't tell and I have an K-5IIs. So I guess that is a good thing. My files are big enough!
The second shot is slightly darker...

K-5s tend to producer colder temperature in AWB, so my vote goes to file 2 = K5iis

File one E.jpg has worse moire on the fence in front of the house on the right, so that would point to the K-5IIs with no way to address moire.

I picked 'file 1' for K3. If you look closely, 'file 1' has a sharper center region whereas 'file 2' has sharper left and right sides, the focus maybe abit off??

Yellow cast file one looks familiar to me. File 2 colors are blueish, maybe little, must be k3
