You are correct. Foxit has gone worse in recent versions.. however I still believe it's much better than Adobe. Old versions of Foxit that I used mostly were 4-7 Mb ( Old Version of Foxit Reader Download - OldApps.com ) I have use only a little newer versions since I'm using Linux now and their version for Linux is quite ancient and does not support 64 bit. Under Linux I use Mupdf which is quite weird but lightning fast. I would have tried Sumatra but it doesn't work under Linux, Mupdf does work under Windows (but never tried it).
