Jeez, Khos, did you have to scare me with the first pic of you with the girls?

I really like your pic of the K-3.
Didn't get a chance to play with the pentax K3 Ron , As you can see I had my hands full from the 1st image

I also Like the picture of the K3 , there is a someone in background really enjoying a Glass of Red.

Can't be me, I'm not a silverback

Re some other pix posted, I have no idea who the bloke in the flowery shirt was. He did a presentation about technology.

Bugger, I live in Adelaide but was in Sydney last night having dinner only 500m or so away from the launch. I'd offered to have dinner with someone a few weeks back and then saw the post starting this thread about 3 hours after making the offer. Unfortunately, I considered it ungentlemanly to renege and withdraw the dinner invitation in order to go check out a camera. You guys looked like you enjoyed yourselves.

Isn't that Pete the 'Gadget Guy' who usually appears on the Channel 7 Sunrise programme reviewing new technology.

The flowery shirt guy is Peter Blasina, he used to be (maybe still is) known as the "gadget guy".

I've seen him on various lifestyle television programs like the one where channel 7 does up a room in you house and this guy does a spiel for the latest techy thing that the show's sponsored by.

Or they wheel him out on some morning TV show to fill the gaps between the news and adverts.
eg "here's the latest home gadget - it's called a plasma television - look its only 6 inches thick and cost $10,000".
Often he'll try and demonstrate said gadget live on TV and something will fail terribly, quick change the subject. Very embarrassing.

I got the email too but completely forgot about it until Sunday night, but all the spots may have gone by then, or they couldn't be bothered coz they didn't reply to my email on Monday
Pity ... I needed an excuse to take a break from doing rennovations all week . Kind of sore with all the manual labour.
oh..... and there was free booze and promo chicks too (one of them has a nice "battery grip" )

Someone looks pretty excited to be there.

Who's this ?

I'd highly doubt some ladies who are only there because they are paid to be there would be Pentaxians. Plus I think that would be about the last topic of conversation I would ever have with them.

But they might be interested to know what you're using to take photos of their nude bodies with.....
I like those pics of the models, but I had to look three times before I realised there was a Pentax banner behind them.

Regards

Hi Julian great to have you on the PF, Big Welcome from Sunshine Coast.

Good night and that last beer did taste great
So glad that you did get the Silver K3 in the end.

They contacted me yesterday, to say that they now have the HD DA 15 in, so they have posted it.

I knew you would fall in love with the K3
Now you need some nice silver lenses to go with it
The DA 20-40 limited looks good
