D-BG4 grip can work on the K-3.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but some updates on this would be great! Anyone doing this long term notice any long term effects?

Thanks for the advice !! I thought of it too. I just removed the metal plate and worked like a charm. And its a 3rd party grip also soo not Only i saved money with it but I was able to re-use it with my new camera

So this mod will work on the K3II I imagine. Wonder if one can order a spare BG5 top plate & the just switch it out with the BG4
