Battery

Quick question: does the K-3 use the same battery/charger as the K-5 series? It's so nice when these accessories are compatible and swappable.

Yes, the same D-Li90 battery in both the body and the grip.

The charger and batteries are identical down to the part numbers to what I got with the K-5.

So it looks like I'll have a K-5, a K-5IIs and a K-3 in the not too distant future. I'm a little concerned about learning the new controls and menus in the K-3, though--I'm slower than most with that sort of thing.
