Upgrading from a K-r

Yesterday I picked up my K-3. Wow what a difference between it and my trusty old K-r. So far my favourite thing is the stealth mode shutter noise. On my K-r the shutter noise is so loud it would scare away any wildlife I wanted to capture. I could get off one shot then they would run from the noise. Now I won't be able to blame the shutter noise for my bad shots

. I am looking forward to learning more about what I can do and what my next favourite thing will be about the K-3.

I also upgraded recently from my K-r to the K-3. I love the shutter noise too! What a world of difference! I also love all the external buttons so I don't have to dig through the menu. I love the bright viewfinder and the LCD is just so nice.There are so many other features I will need to learn and/or get used to. There is so much to learn. I wish the manual were more elaborate like the Pentax manuals of the past.
