Anyone with K-3+Tamron 70-200/2.8?

I have a Tamron and a Sigma 70-200/2.8, and I have to sell one of them. But I don't know which. In my country K-3 will be available just next month, so I can't try this lenses on it. I like Tamron much, because is a little sharper, and it's working with a TC in AF, but is slow, and hunts on some subjects, even loose the focus for good some times on my K-5.

Did someone can tell me how this Tamron perform on K-3?

I have both the K5 and a newly acquired K3. IMO the Tamron 70-200 works better with the K3. I think it is due to the K3's faster focus ( and higher resolution). I am able to capture an image before any camera shake sets in especially if hand held.
I think you should keep your Tamron lens. To me its an incredibly good lens. Sharp and amazing value for money. The only drawback is its large size and weight.

Attached is a picture I took with the Tamron 70-200 at 70mm f4.0 1/125 ISO 800 hand held. Converted into jpeg in LR4 without any processing. Hope it helps in your decision making.

My Tamron 70-200 f2.8 performs very well on the K-3. It focused well on my K-5, but it is even snappier on my K-3. I have used it to shoot sports (American Football and NCAA Basketball) with good results. I would like to try the latest Sigma 70-200 to compare the two. I love the IQ of the Tamron and probably wouldn't give it up, which means I might eventually end up with two 70-200 f2.8 if I keep shooting sports. I probably won't though since I'm graduating next spring and won't have the opportunity to get a press pass. Unless somebody can get me into a KC Chiefs or KC Sporting game to shoot. That would be awesome!

I will simply say that you have to like the IQ from your lens, or the rest doesn't matter much.

I'll also add that unless your Sigma is the very latest model, it's probably not worth hanging on to anyway, since with the Sigma 70-200/2.8 only the newest version has great performance (especially outstanding AF performance).

Thank you for your responses.

My Sigma is the second generation, not the latest, with OS. Is Sigma EX 70-200/2.8 II Macro HSM. It's resolution is good at f2.8 and very good from f4. But is quick, does not hunts, but very rarely, doesn't loose the focus, and stay stock out of focus, like Tamron does some times. And it has the manual controls of focus, with no need for changing two switches like Tamron. Color aberration, almost none, as you can see in this photo. And despite is a little heavier than Tamron, is shorter, and more easy to balance on K-5 with grip. The following pictures was made hand held, at f2.8, ISO 1600, exposure time 2 seconds. First the resized picture, second a 100%crop from one side of it. No PP.

On the down side, Sigma can be used with TC only in manual mode. And the resolution of Tamron is very good from f2.8. I cannot test Tamron on stars until now, because I bought it recently, but I will do this soon, to see the aberration.
