Hi,

You're from Italy? If you're in Trento it may be very cold and that could be the cause for the weak battery.
Otherwise I don't know what could be the cause.

Faceva molto freddo quando la batteria faceva questi problemi?

I just upgraded to K3 from K20D , & I believed that the K3 need more power than my old K20D even though the capacity for K3 is 1860 mAH which is 240 mAH higher than K20D
if fact, I just took around 250 shots to-day & found out that battery indecator showed only 2/3 left compared to my old K20D which usually showed 3/3
better to have a spare ready all the time

I was inside the house, termosifosi off but all in all it was not very cold, the battery and the original, I tried other batteries with the same result, after cica 200 shots on display exits the written LOW BATTERY, I close my power back then still another 100 shots I have to replace the battery

The battery should improve after a few charge/discharge cycles..., I had the same problem with my K-30, also started with about 200, now I get over 1000 clicks on the same battery.

I wonder if the rear screen is a factor. It is big, bright and on all the time with the K-3 default settings.

More generally I note how quickly tablet and smartphone screens drain the battery on these devices too, so it could be.
