Hi,

Any suggestion on the best option to protect the K3's 3.2 inch display?

Thanks

Just ordered this one yesterday. Will be here by Tuesday. I used the same product on my K-5 and it's great. No interference with the screens and is removable if need be. Comes with the protector for the top display too.

What about the bevel?

Will these things fit with the bevel on the right side of the rear screen?

Will let you know Tuesday

This is designed for the K3 not a generic 3.2" cover, so I assume that's compensated for.

Using ACMAXX for my K-5 and K-01, as well as several past cameras. Highly recommended. Getting one for my new K-3. Hopefully no problems

GIOTTOS AEGIS MULTICOAT SCHOTT LCD SCRN PROTECTOR SP8320 which is available through B&H. It is pricey, but I have piece of mind as well as everything comes through great. Note that at this time it is not specifically for the K-3.

My Review of the ACMAXX (for the K-5) on photographyvoice.com
Just received this today and installed without a hitch.

Some thoughts...

1. It could be a little wider to be honest. Just a smidge. If I look at it from the left side of the camera I can see the view screen under it.
2. It rides on top of the LCD (but is non-damaging and removable). The right side bevel is not a factor.
3. Installation of the main LCD protector and top screen protector are a piece of cake. However, since the main LCD is larger than the protector (though the viewing area is not) make sure you have the camera/screen on so you can place it with the proper margins and not overlap the edge of the viewing area.

Will add some pictures later.

I installed my ACMAXX on the K3 too. It's about less than 1.5mm short on left & right and about 1mm from top and bottom.

I contacted the seller because according to the ACMAXX website, the protector shouldn't sit on the LCD.

Hopefully then they will replace it.

I received the replacement main LCD protector today. It's slightly larger now compared to the original I received though it's still sitting on the actual LCD and not around it. However, I'm happy with it so case closed for me. The original K3 protector I was able to put onto the Nikon J1 (fit perfectly).

I highly recommend the ACMAXX protectors. I've been using them since my ist*DS and DL, K10D and K5.

Putting a screen protector on the K-5II and K-3 defeats the benefits of the gapless display (that is glass). My wife and I fly unprotected.
