Very nice. DXO Optics 9 will have it in January also, and for many specific lenses.

Lightroom Newbie.
I just installed 5.3. How do you know Lightroom is using the K-3 profile?
Under the 'Camera Calibration' section I see 'Embedded', 'Standard Adobe', and the 'ColorChecker' version I created.
I believe it only said 'Embedded' and 'ColorChecker' prior to the update, but I'm not 100% sure.

Auto White Balance may also be fixed

And for those having WB problems with Lightroom they claim to have fixed the problem:

Incorrect White Balance settings applied when synching Auto WB from source to targets.

I did a quick check and it does seem to be better.

On a scale of 1~10, how serious is the WB issue on the K-3?

It's somewhere between zero (0) and (1) for me. I've thrown daylight, tungsten, several varieties of flourescent, and flash at the K-3 so far without any issues. All I am missing so far is LED lighting. I expect to encounter some of that soon.

I just tried the new updates for LR and PSE 12 on the MAC platform and both open the K3 PEF and DNG files correctly allow changes and save to JPG perfectly. Now if Apple Aperture would just do an update before Easter...

I'm downloading 5.3 now. With 5.2 the only choice I get for K-3 images is "Embedded". On my older images with K-01 and K-7 "Standard Adobe" is also available. I expect "Standard Adobe" to be available for K-3 images after the download and install is complete.

Thank you. That's what I thought but wasn't 100% sure.
On a side note: I think the K-3 Adobe Standard Profile doesn't seem very different from the Embedded profile. It still looks desaturated to me.

"Standard Adobe" has been added, it's a shame however that "Camera Standard" hasn't also been made an addition, as that profile is usually the best one of the three for my K-7, and I used it 80+% of the time.
