Nelson Mandela Tribute Niagara Falls - K3 Night Shots

Tonight I had the opportunity to take some of my first long exposures at night with the K3. The Niagara Parks Commission decided to honour the passing of Nelson Mandela by lighting the Falls with colours from the South African Flag. This was one night only so I was glad to have the opportunity to witness and photograph this event.

Nice shots.

If this winter keeps up like it has started, maybe the falls will freeze over again. Been a some time since that has happened. If the War of 1812 had turned out better for us both side of the falls would be the American side. Oh well. I'm still hoping that they allow the falls to run at full tilt once in awhile. That would be a sight to behold. My goal is to live long enough to see it reach Lake Erie. SSSWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Travis.
These were all shot at 100 ISO, shutters of 30 sec in the first one, 15 sec in the second one and 8 sec in the third, JPEGS and auto NR off, no NR on the custom settings, with some cropping of the second and third shots.
