I am tempted to buy the book just for auto focus information that Pentax/Ricoh is woefully negligent providing. How extensive is the explanation about the various auto focus options with examples of what options to use in different situations?

I appreciate the feed back about this ebook, I opened the add for it just the other day. Did not purchase it because there was not enough information and examples of what the book has to offer. I have asked other friends from a local photo club about the book and have not received a reply back as for now. I would also like a hard copy or paperback.

Site seems a little too open - no security

I found this thread. I too am looking for a book with more information than the manual.
Checked out Yvon's web site and got turned off by the lack of security.
I don't enter extensive personal information unless it's an https site.
Can anyone shed any light on my concerns?

K3 e-book

not available on Amazon UK unfortunately but not sure how much help it would be as there is a plethora of info on youtube or just sit and play with your camera more. Remember seeing an article by a lady photographer and she said the first thing she did with a new camera was to read the manual, each section over and over with camera in hand until it sunk in. Lets be honest its not rocket science is it
