Nikon F Mount to Pentax K Mount adapter

Does anybody know if there is/are adapter/s out there for the Nikon f mount to pentax k mount, but similar to the metabones smart adapter iii which still can enable autofocus and other lens features? I have seen many adapters but all of them limits the lens to manual focus only and lens features render useless. If such adapter is available or going to be available, I would greatly appreciate some info from fellow pentaxians and forum members.

I ordered my k3 last week and would be ecstatic if I could use nikkor lenses on it with autofocus. Moving from Nikon to Pentax was not an easy decision or journey to make, but I'm definitely sold by Pentax's innovation and quality. The sad part now is that my k3 will not arrive until after the new year.

No, there is not, and there never will be, not with autofocus. An adapter needs to have a glass element just to retain infinity focus.

All the Nikon to Pentax (and vice-versa) adapters need a corrective element, which screws up the image quality. There are also no AF adapters that I know of, unfortunately

You don't need adapter to mount nikon lens to pentax body! It fits almost perfectly . The working distance of nikon is higher than pentax so you just need to mount the lens. All the lenses will work as MF lenses and the ones with aperture ring will be more usefull, the others will need something to stuck the aperture at wide open and that's how you will use it. I have Nikkor 35 1.8 and micro nikkor 55 2.8 and used them on K200 and K30.

I wouldn't say "almost perfectly". Some of them fit, some of the won't, and if they do they often sideways or upside down. You have to watch what you are scraping with some of them as you mount them, it is hard to turn the aperture ring, etc. Hardly an easy, trouble-free experience, but it can be done.

Yes it is not that safe and secure mounting, but it is enough to take photos. And you have infinity... Actually that's how I decided to leave pentax, I have tried some nikkors comparing them with pentax lenses and now I am migrating .
Pre AI models are perfect for pentax - they mount much more securely. AIs must be modified a little if you want more secure mounting.
Lenses that I have used on my pentax:
Nikkor P 50 1.4
AF-S Nikkor 35mm and 50mm 1.8G
Micro Nikkor 55 AIS 2.8 and pre-AI 3.5
