Looks great, but somehow with the clock ticking at the wheel it doesn't match with the 4k settings off the K-3 (if I'm not mistaking it shouldn't make a shot every second).

It's a time lapse test, not an interval movie test. Therefore you can set the lapse period to whatever you like.
4K really only means the resolution of the images he shot at.

Both clips are impressive. Is it straight from the camera or is there any editor needed to create such a time laps videos?
