Does Anyone Have More Than One K-3?

I've always had two matching bodies(one for slides, the other for print)and I also I didn't think about different features or button placement. I just sold one K-5 and really want two 3's. I may keep the older camera for a mini system.

You could have one for color and the other B&W

Or one for ISO 100 and one for ISO 400

To answer your question I think Lauren is waiting on delivery of her third k-3. https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/172-pentax-k-3/243096-i-fixed-my-k3-tonight.html

I'm getting my first K-3 in 48 hours!! Can't wait. Now, I need to decide to sell the K-5 and keep the K-30 as a back up....

Yep.
Grips all around.
We'll see if the third will get one or not as they are hard to come by.

Technically, the 3rd K3 is going to my husband, so *my* third will probably be the 4th in the house.

I have a two week shoot coming up, so my 3rd will have to wait until after I return.
I will use my two K5 cameras as backup, so I will be shooting with 4 Pentax cameras.

Here is mostly what I am taking along.
What you see is *just* camera gear.

Those are ThinkTank Logistic Managers next to an Airport Security V2.0 for size.
Inside those Gun cases, are my slider and lighting setups.

Yes. I am a "hardcore Pentaxian".
I LOVE the fact that I have never gotten a break when it comes to Pentax gear.
I am free to criticize to my heart's content, and say it like I see it.

It was getting old carrying everything I owned in my Think Tank HD, so I bought a Perspective 20 to switch stuff in-n-out and keep both bags in the car.

Unfortunately when I do that (even politely) I get hate mail. Oh well.

Greetings

P.S.
As to all the gear you schlepp with you, do you employ a Sherpa ?

LOL. I have been flamed more than a few times!

As for all the gear and needing a Sherpa?

It's a real pain to take so much gear with me, but as it's my job these days, it goes with the territory.

On vacation, I take a significantly reduced "load-out", but it's still more than most people take.

Ironically, much of the work I did in my "free time" gave me the examples/demos/shots/experience I needed to do this work professionally.

If I didn't take so much gear with me all the time, I would not have been ready when they asked me to shoot an impromptu interview, and the rest is history.

So as they say..."No pain no gain".
