ExiF data

There is a lot of pictures on this forum but to many lack ExiF data attached. I donīt know why many people cuts the ExiF out but I for one would like to se what shutter speed, f-stop, ISO, lens used etc so that I can learn from you all. If I find a picture to be this or that the ExiF helps me understand why or it helps me improve my shots.

So, please attach the ExiF data when you post your pictures.

/Thomas

Unfortunately, some software deletes the Exif info and we do not always notice until it is called to our attention. A good practice is to list camera, lens and f stop/ speed with the photo if possible although that can be a bit of a bother sometimes.

Photoshop's 'save for web' feature will strip out exif data. However, if you do 'save as => jpeg', the exif is retained.

Some of the picture hosting sites filter out EXIF data.

If you want to you can choose to retain all metadata in a drop down menu when using save for web in photoshop
