Hm, just now I go online and check what lens is available on local Pentax store. Strange, but there is PH-RBA available, and that's lens that doesn't fit on DA L WR lens, according to Pentax staff. So, I'm confused now. Which hood is for which lens....
Also, that PH-RBA is cheaper, that's make no sense to me. Maybe Jimmy is right, maybe the right hood for my new lens is PH-RBC?
Apparently the database here is wrong. The DA L WR uses the PH-RBC just like the DA.

The hoods for the original DA's and DA L's had the same bayonet style hood. I never owned a WR kit (other than 18-135), so the bayonet may be different.
As far as the new DA L WR, I don't have a clue. That's why I had said you may need a 52mm screw on hood. I hope someone else knows if the DA WR's have the same mount as the new DA L WR's....

If it is a WR (DA or DA L) lens then the correct hood is PH-RBC.

Because it is a kit lens that is not sold separately by Ricoh.

Options?

Hello Skipper,
If you're still having trouble finding the correct lens hood, how about a rubber collapsible type? I believe all the 18-55mm's use a 52mm filter, right?
52mm Rubber Lens Hood for Standard Wide Tele Focus | eBay
Now, if you absolutely have to use the OEM petal-type hood, you can keep looking, but for $5.00, this will do the job just as well. Just retract it for W/A and pop it forward for normal FL and tele.
Just an idea for you, good luck!

Interesting idea. No, it's not necessary tha hood must be petal OEM, thanks for advice.

Thanks, that's probably it. Only difference is that mine lens is DA L and have the tiny red line instead green, but construction is same.

Most probably, PH-RBC is the one you need. But if you are not sure, you can buy both, because PH-RBA is under 3,60 euro, and sell the one you don't need.
