My one complaint on the K-3 is the AF mode button's location (not the AF button on the rear, but the one on the side). I wish it were the bulbous head of the switch lever itself rather than a separate button. It's super easy to find while looking through the viewfinder and I find myself pushing it (obviously to no avail). And then I have to forcibly contour my finger to reach the 'hidden' and really diminutive AF Mode button above it.
My recommendation for the next K-3 successor would be keep the current AF Mode button there and call it the "C" or "X" button - a 100% customizable button with no purpose other than mapping to any function you want. And then add a button to the core of the AF Mode lever similar to the way the AF button was implemented on the K-5/K-7.
But for my first impression - it's an even more aggressively styled camera than the K-7/K-5, which I didn't think could be done. The K-3 has replaced the K-7/K-3 for the most downright 'badass' and 'no BS' looking camera body ever made in my opinion.
And agreed with above - that shutter sound is...just
wow.
