Just an FYI - the file I got (and installed last night) from the Russian site yesterday is byte-for-byte identical to the one I downloaded from the Japanese site this morning.

Upgrade certainly is giving me more accurate readings on my battery grip. We will see if it successfully transfers power to battery in camera.

When I saw the news early this morning, I figured I was wrong about my beta test speculation (teaches me to keep my empty-headed speculations to myself).

I did the upgade this morning. everything works. Though it took me two tries.. For some reason with the first try when I would turn the camera on while pressing menu, I did not get the upgrade screen. did this repeatedly but would not work. I finally reformatted the disc and re-downloaded the firmware. It worked! whew

I just downloaded v.1.02 and installed it in the camera. Everything went smoothly.

I WILL BE INTERESTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE STILL EXPERIENCES "MIRROR FLUTTER" WITH THIS FIRMWARE VERSION. I've only had it happen once with v. 1.01, but that was once too often.

One can just love Pentax for introducing new features and this fast since releasing the camera.

Can someone confirm whether this update improves the number if keepers while focus tracking is enabled?
If true that would be great news for action sports shooters.

Broke? How did that happen?
Who knows? Card came out, card won't go back in. When I tried to push it in, it got jammed and had to be yanked out with pliers. Mechanism appears to have broken.

Although there is no mention of it - is there any improvement to the flash delay issue with this FW?
