K3 Flash

Have a new k3. Wondering about the flash. Can I tell it to not do a flash? Might be in a museum and no flash is allowed.

So far flash has never come on unless I press the flash button to raise the flash unit.

Because the flash release button is mechanical, the flash can not and will not fire unless you pop it up manually first. So if you want it off, just close it and you'll be good

Thanks Adam. My Canon would pop up and flash on its own if it needed more light.
