Holy smokes!

So I get home and I have a box on my front porch. Inside is a sparkling new K-3. Keep in mind I am coming from a K-7, this camera has me at a loss for words. It is more than I could have ever imagined. Being able to use my camera above ISO 800 is mind boggling. WOW

Next time you order Pentax gear, let me know so I can sit on your front porch and wait for the courier.

Congrats on the K-3. I went K-r to K-3. I am sure you will enjoy everything it has to offer in terms of ISO

Section 11 of the K-3 review is "Recommended Settings". They're a good starting point (mine is still mostly set up that way).

Enjoy your new K-3.

Wow, that good huh? I tried an *ist and felt it was a gigantic step back from the K10d. I went from K10d to K7 and I was blown away by the K7. Still am. So putting all this "camera improvement relativity" together, the K3 must be pretty awesome.

Night a day difference. I love the K-7, but it is now the ugly step sister in my bag

I do really think that K-7 and K-3 is different beasts. I like K-7 still, but haven't really used it since I got K-3. Will take it with me to go to shoot some rally tomorrow, as second body.I shall see if my love to K-7 will be better or worse after tomorrow...

I also went *ist DS to K-3. I went back to the *ist after a week with the K3 and I just can't believe I waited so long.
