Pentax Flucards delivering in UK.

The Pentax Flucards are on sale now in the UK, and SRS Microsystems currently have the best price at £99, and some have been posted out already.

At present they work with WiFi equipped computers and devices that have Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Apple Safari browsers installed, which effectively ruled out Windows 8 smartphones.

The good news for any Windows smartphone user is that Mozilla's Firefox for Windows Phone browser is being released for download on 18th March so the flucard should be able to function with anyone using Apple, Android or Windows phones.

On what do you base your 'Mobile 8 support'.?

It unlikely MicroSoft has changed their attitude therefore difficult to see where a Firefox build would come from.?

With respect, those articles are quite old and date back to the Windows 7 phones, but you are right in that there are not as yet Windows phone versions of Safari, Firefox or Chrome.
However Firefox for Windows 8 touch is coming mid to late March so there may be hope for a compatible phone version.
