Pentax releases firmware v1.03 for k-3

Changes to V1.03

Correspond to HD PENTAX-DA AF REAR CONVERTER 1.4X AW.
Improved stability for general performance.

Latest K-3 Firmware Update : Software Downloads | RICOH IMAGING

I found a small bug after the update (don´t know if it was there before):
Insert two SD-cards and chose to save RAW to SD1 and JPG to SD2.
Notice the two arrows on the top-lcd.
Turn the camera on and off.
The arrow for the SD2 is now gone fron the top-lcd but the camera still saves RAW to SD1 and JPG to SD2.

My K3 with Rev 1.02 operates the same way.

Also the number of shots displayed is the least number on whichever card. For mine I have a 32 GB in SD1 set to RAW and an 8 GB in SD2 set to JPG Large *** so it displays the number left on SD2 since its the smallest. I suppose it would be nice if the arrow pointed to the SD card whose number is being displayed, but since the rear LCD displays both it's not a big deal.

I found three ways to get the arrow back after turning the camera on:
1: Press "Menu" twice.
2: Press "Info" and then "Menu".
3: Press "Right" and then "Menu" or "OK".

My menu with RAW+JPG selected, Firmware 1.03 displays both upper and lower arrows, even after power-cycling.

It has to be RAW SD1 and JPG SD2.

The arrows works fine when using RAW+JPG on both SD1 and SD2.

Glad to see Ricoh continue to invest in the K3 platform. It indicates that there will be another K3 body released next , maybe K3 II/IIs ?

Hope Ricoh has been to make the mirror flutter issue, identify the cause, and gets a fix out as soon as possible.

K3/II please, with MJPEG video, sensor shake reduction and full manual video options.

Err.. They have released the same firmware update (Corresponds to HD PENTAX-DA AF REAR CONVERTER 1.4X AW) for a number of their DSLRs as well as the K-01. Some of these are discontinued models, yet they still release firmware so they support new lenses and adapters. So I certainly don't think it indicates anything other than this.
There is also a new firmware update for each of the Pentax Q models to support the newest lens (Correspond to [PENTAX-08 WIDE ZOOM] )
