Cool preview Zoom feature in K3

Apparently it doesn't take much to make me smile some times...

When zooming into an image on the K3, the zoom levels are now strictly in "stop" levels of magnification; 1.4x, 2.0x, 2.8x, 4x, 5.6x, 8x, 11x, etc...
Used to have somewhat random values (3.4, 5.7, 6.7, 9.5) thrown in. Not sure which is *better*, but I find it slightly humorous.

But what I found really nice is that they break that cycle for 8.3x and label it as "[100%]".
How nice is that? No more guessing for actual size pixel-peeping!

Yaver! But even nicer is that you can one click it to 100%. See your menu settings.

That _is_ a neat feature; I found the following somewhere on the web - to check the sharpness and in-focus: configure the camera to shoot raw, crank up the sharpness to ridiculous levels (I believe, the idea is - there's a small low-ish quality jpeg stored along/in PEF, for preview, it will be the victim of sharpening), configure zoom to jump to 100%, voila! you can check the sharpness and focus instantly after the shot.

I have stored the settings under U1, just in case I may want to shoot an occasional jpeg (don't know why I'd want to do that, but things happen); that mega sharpness is sure to ruin the resulting full size jpegs

What is missing, though - Pentax should link the initial "zoom area" to the focus point. Since this is clearly a firmware responsibility - Pentax, please? Pretty please?

Yeh, I've never figured out what 100% is on the K-7
Must have had a lot of important feedback about that.
