well, preview has finally posted an abbreviated review. Overall positive I think.

Comparing the resolution using the daylight studio images is particularly informative (K-3 v D7100 v D610 v Sony A7). Very impressive

They are taking their sweet time finishing it! But so far it's a McDonald's review: they're lovin' it!

It is not real obvious, but they currently have a prominent promotional block at the top of their homepage announcing an eight page supplement to their "ongoing" review of the K-3. Apparently they are backfilling the elements of a future full review on to the existing first impressions from October.

But we can never have too many threads relating to DPR's handling of a possible, maybe, forthcoming, prioritized, nearly-finished, we're just trying to get it right, we really don't hate Pentax, it's all in your mind, our numbers tell us..., almost done, since it's so important we're doling it out piecemeal, we don't have enough reviewers, you're lucky we took our time, FULL review of the K-3.
Or, can we?

The K-3 is also at this moment the "most popular camera" on their site (as per their sidebar), which, to me, indicates that just maybe they have a chicken and egg problem - they don't cover Pentax because they have no/few "Pentax clicks/searches", but they have few "Pentax clicks/searches" because they don't cover Pentax...
