Strange Happening Wth Metz Flash In P-TTL/HSS.

It was cool and breezy morning yesterday, so I decided to sell one of my acoustic guitars. When using both modes in Av, the camera took two consecutive shots and also when in manual. Any suggestions?

I also had double shots sometimes (K-3 + Metz 58 AF-2).

When I had K-5 IIs, I had the same flash and everything was all flawless.
Now, even without this bug, shooting with a flash has become almost unusable because of a too long shutter delay. It's really a pity.

Last year Metz put out firmware updates for several flash models regarding HSS on the K30 and the K5II.

Is it possible these firmware updates could cure the HSS problem you're experiencing?

Might want to give it a try, Pentax made changes to their newer cameras that affects HSS on the Metz flashes. The K3, K50 and K500 weren't out yet but Pentax may have carried forward the changes so updating to the latest Metz Flash firmware could help.

I updated my flash in a few days after the release of the new firmware. It was last year.
