4K movie interval timelapse

I was quite interested in the 4K movie interval time lapse capabilities of the K-3, and its ok for daytime subjects. But my latest tests for city night scenes has been a major disappointment, as you can not get nice motion blur subjects, as the slowest settings are 2 second intervals with 1/30th shutter speed.

Is there a way around this, or do we have go back a shoot time lapse normal way with the k-3 ie. still shots?

I have only used it once to try stop motion. I have not investigated why yet but the looked as if either the video frame rate was very low. Couldn't seem to get smooth motion. Perhaps it lacks a control for frame rate and video frames per picture frame.
Try using the interval mode instead, which unfortunately means importing all the frames into a video editor to produce the video, which is a bit slow on an ordinary PC.

I've found the footage needs to be sped up around x8 for 30fps, makes smoother vid.
But alas still no answer for longer shutter speeds than 1/30 ;( , hopefully it's something in the firmware they can fix. I would hope they could at least go down to 1.5sec allow write times between 2sec shots.

Yes, I thought so too. I don't why you cant have slower shutter speeds though, Isn't the camera just taking stills and than converting them to movie files or doing the video editing for you?
