K-3 on the way

Yes! I was finally able to pull the trigger on a K-3 through B&H. My wife (OregonRain) is ordering a K-50 as well. This next week will be rough as we wait for the UPS guy to arrive...

You mean you don't know the UPS person by his/her name by now? Obviously, your CBA and LBA hasn't really struck yet. But it will. Bwaah hah hah!

Uh, LBA happened a loooooong time ago. I lost count, but we're up around 100 or so. Half are m42, half are k-mount.

FWIW, I also ordered the battery grip, GPS unit, and FluCard, too. That should satisfy GAS for a bit. Next year, we'll be living within day-trip distance of NYC. Oh my...

Congradulations on the K3/50. As far as waiting for the delivery guy....... I've even shared our lunch with him from time to time!

You are really going to enjoy the K-3 and K-50. Both are very pleasant cameras to use.

I feel guilty starting a new thread just to announce that my K-3 arrived via UPS about an hour ago so I thought I'd join in on OregonJim's news. I'm now anxiously waiting for the battery to charge.

Any idea how long the battery lasts if you're shooting still shots, no flash?
