Question about K-3 : quirk or feature?

Hi!

I just realized yesterday evening, while shooting macro with live view, that after a while the K-3 "freezes" if I haven't pressed any button. It lowers the morrir, turns off the screen and the top LCD (apart from the battery symbol) and won't wake if I half-press the shutter. I turn it off then on again and everything is fine. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is your battery low? If not, then this is probably just the auto-off feature which can be disabled via the menu.

Battery is supposed to be 2/3 full. It might be the auto-off but when I'm not in live view, it comes back to life on a button press.

Sounds like the auto off to me. Minor annoyance when I shoot "street" from the hip. But a great feature when I do anything else.

Edit: I just tried mine. It wakes up after half shutter press in LV. Had to double check for you. I have latest firmware.
