Change audio levels DURING recording?

Hey Everyone,

I'm loving my K3, and discovering new applications for it every week. But with new exploration comes new questions.

I shot video for my percussion ensemble concert yesterday, which as you can imagine has a wide range of audio levels. Ideally I would've had an external mic, but I haven't yet invested in one, so I was using the built-in microphone. I used manual audio settings as I thought it would give me the best control over the soft and loud tones, but as I was recording, I couldn't figure out how to adjust the audio levels during the recording. Is this impossible?

I recognize that you can monitor the audio coming in when you're setting the levels in the infomenu, but is there no way to adjust during recording?

Thanks for the help; I look forward to getting into the community here!

Unfortunately I don't think this is possible. Your best bet is to get an external recorder (preferred by many) or an external mic.
