K3/Sigma 18-35: Old Truck

While driving yesterday I saw this old truck along the highway so stopped to capture. They don't make them like this anymore.

Nice photo of an old truck, put out to pasture...literally.

Looks like a mid to later '30's Ford 2 ton , medium duty truck. Many years ago you would see a number, used as grain trucks for farmers. Very uncommon to see now.

They used a flathead V8 and low gearing to move that grain from combine to grain bin....then to the grain elevator.

Mea culpa, it is. My monitor is calibrated and the original looks flat and dull. Uncalibrated monitors are typically much brighter and bluer. My version may look silly on yours and the original just fine. I will remove my ill conceived suggestion.

Hi Brooke:

I didn't mean for you to delete your versions of the pictures; they were interesting interpretations. The truth is all of us have our own tastes which makes this hobby lots of fun.
