Minolta MA lenses on a K-3

Hello! Is there an adapter that lets you use Minolta MA lenses on a K-3 body? I tried to find one on eBay, but I failed.

No but Minolta MA lenses work on sony alpha mount and some are worth good money.

Not if you want to focus to infinity, for sure. You'd need to get the lens about 1mm closer to the sensor than a Pentax lens.

If you want to use minolta A mount lenses on a modern DSLR body, Sony would be your best bet since they use the same mount - the lens would probably be fully compatible.

If you look at the wikipedia link I posted, if a mount is below the Pentax K mount, it can theoretically be adapted, if it's not, it can't, except for close focus/macro/etc.

But you could always put it on a shiny new Pentax Q

No, it got a shorter flange distance to the sensor and therefore a correctional (teleconverter) lens is needed to achieve infinity focus.
