K3:Sigma 8-16/Canadian Pacific Railway

The Sigma 8-16 is a fun lens that allows one to capture wide views not possible except for a fisheye. This picture was from last weekend. Taken in Lethbridge Alberta near the largest rail bridge in North America.

You should try to take the bridge with a train on it. It's a fantastic sight. I live 170 Km West of Lethbridge, and am there often.

Good idea. What angle do you shoot it? I didn't have time to set up as I didn't know the train was coming.

On the East side of the trestle there is a whole staircase from the road at river level up to a gazebo lookout not far below the trestle.

I agree that having an 8mm rectangular lens opens up new possibilities.
