1000 reasons why I bought a K-3 (5 at a time)

For those considering purchasing a K-3, I thought it would be good to have a place for members to post reasons why they purchased their K-3.

My guess is it won't take long to reach 100, so I a posting a long goal of 1000 reasons. Just so all the positives are in one location. (As nay-sayers have many threads in place)

My top 5

1. Low light performance
2. Wonderful sensor performance and color rendering
3. Almost unlimited customization of camera for different applications, yet easy to use.
4. Backward compatibility with K range of lenses
5. Solid feel, durability and Weather Protection

16) Bigger viewfinder
17) Placement of AF button
18) Low light AF
19) Tracking AF
20) Shutter on burst is like a pretty girl fluttering her eyelids, not like a machine gun at all

Coming from a K-5:

21. Dual card slots.
22. Better (low light) autofocus performance.
23. Bigger and brighter viewfinder.
24. Focus peaking (and more usable live view in general).
25. Dedicated mode wheel positions for user modes.

That was sort of 6 camouflaged as 5. Sorry!

26. Weight with or without grip
27. Overall size bags and carries well.
28. Reintroduction of the leather covers on strap rings
29. Choice of colour schemes on the rear screen. No. 9 my favourite as it matches the red white and black colours of Pentax forums red option.
30. Return of the P30T body colour on the prestige edition...
