Samyo, thank you for your insightful input, it was as if you were reading my mind.
Ultimately, I have decided on the K-3 and this time next year, I hope to supplement
it with the new Pentax FF.

...and the main reason is the way the camera fits in my hand.
I feel like I could shoot for days with the Pentax & my hand started cramping with
the Nikon~

The AF System on the D610 is next to useless in dim lighting conditions (did a shoot in a dimly lit room and not one pic was in focus, with the Nikon 24-70mm!!!) - the K3 will beat it easily and the Fuji system slows right down in poor light. AF-C only usable on XT-1 really.
I know it's not in your initial question but if you want to go the Nikon FF way I'd seriously consider the D750 which focusses very well in darker conditions and avoid the D610.

The D750 is fabulous. If you are in the USA you can try it and return it by January 15 for a full refund. I'm probably going to return the one I got because of the cost.
The cost is stopping me from getting the D750 as well and I am not sure that I would feel comfortable using it for a month, knowing I was going to return it.
I will wait until I can comfortably afford it and get very happy with my K3 in the meantime~

True. D610 low-light AF in general is weak - about K-x/K-5 grade.
However, if you restrict yourself to only using the centre point or centre-9 AF area under poor light, D610 low-light AF actually works better than expected and is quite reliable. But the K-3 and D750 certainly have the advantage here.

CeciProAm - I shoot concerts all of the time and either the D610 or the K3 will be fine. In the pit, there are a lot of D4s, 5D3s, and D610s, and I am the only Pentax shooter. The only time I have any issues is when it's really dark and noise can be a concern. I have shot at ISO 10,000 with grain but at least I got the shot. AF hasn't been an issue since my K200D. After that I went to the KX and the AF was fine. The K3 is great with low light AF. The hidden bonus is weight. My gear ways a lot less than my colleagues. After a very long day or weekend of shooting it adds up.

Here is my list of concerts

Pushed to ISO 8,000. I'm not very heavy with NR.
