Anybody buying into this:

58mm WR Protector AFC9D0

Water & Oil repellent- repels water drops and is fingerprint resistant
Antistatic- filter prevents microscopic dust clinging to the surface
An ideal, colorless filter for regular use- it will not affect color reproduction

Last European Spring I was caught in Warsaw with my Pentax K-3 and Sigma 17-70 Contemporary.
Just around Estar it was a lovely spring Sunday , I was in the middle of nowhere when suddenly heavens opened with unpredicted spring storm , nowhere to hide, I was trying to keep my K-3 lens down.
Nether the less , run back home, wiped K-3, looked ok, but Sigma was full of condensation inside, wiped all external moisture, placed it into a plastic sealed container with silicon gel overnight and it was all fixed by the morning.
Very good gear!

Although I generally have a WR lens (18-135) attached to my K-3, my outdoors kit includes a plastic shower cap purloined from a motel room bathroom years ago. It's wrapped around the camera when things get a bit wet, and folds into a very easy-to-tote small bunch. If you need it, you have it. If not, no sweat. I consider it extra insurance.
