Sadly, that probably won't happen till after new year, I'm back in trondheim for now, which is
a) even more light polluted than Tromsø, and
b) about 1200 km south of the aurora belt.
so maybe, if I get reeeeeeally lucky.

Closest I have ever been to Tromsø is Skiboten. That was a long time ago and in summer time, no Aurora then.

Congrats on your K-3, I still have a couple weeks wait before I see mine. We actually had aurora's visible in Helsinki a couple months back, unfortunately the clouds took care of that for us
