Over exposure with Bower MC7 2x

I started using the 2X Bower MC7 unit with the Tamron 90mm macro lens (and with the Pentax 35mm HD macro) on my new K3 and noticed that the light metering is way off the right settings (I've used it on my K5 with no problems)
took few "test" picture (2 attached) and verified that with the 2x converter there is an error with the light calculation. the "normal" exposure - in the attached case is Iso 3200 1/60 F4 in the 35mm lens while adding the 2x it goes to Iso 3200 1/10 F4. exif data "hides" the fact that the 2x converter is being used.
any Idea of calibration needed ?
