I don't know much...but right off the bat suspected cross processing or 1 shot bracketing of sorts.....something is simply set wrong so don't stress too much !
Remember "Grasshopper"....it is not yet time for you to leave.. !

I wasn't - I just wasn't expecting such variations in the pictures. They're not wrong when they say you learn something new every day!

"Hiding" options that the user doesn't want could potentially be a support nightmare far greater than new owners inadvertently engaging eg. cross processing. I speculate that's the main reason we don't have it.

It fits better there than in the info panel where it was in the K-5. Cross processing and jpeg picture styles are mutually exclusive so it makes sense to package them together as in the K-3.

I like it too and it can work well when you learn to match a cross processing style with the scene palette. Good, lighthearted fun.

Well, Nikon offers a "My Menu" function on most of their cameras -- VERY useful. Just put your most used functions there and you are done. Not a support issue at all.

When I first got my K3 all was well until I took some pics of some pear blossoms, the whole set of pics were all off color... Yep, somehow I had it set to cross processing.
