Extra! Extra! Late Breaking Developments!

Adorama has all six of their Pentax bundles in stock! K-3 fans heave a communal sigh of relief as fears of the camera disappearing are dispelled!

Steve

(...of course, a source has rumored that these cameras are from a secret underground warehouse in the northern reaches of Ontario, Canada where K-3s are being stockpiled as a hedge against any unexpected interruption in production...)

Surely the President must be very close to authorizing access to the national reserves of K-3s, stored in disused Montana salt mines!

Yes, those too...How is the situation down under? Have you folk been impacted as severely as those of us in N. America?

Damn Yankees! Violating our sovereignty to deprive Canadians of the K-3's they are entitled to. First it was using us as a battle shield against Russian missiles, now you want our Pentaxes!

Just had a look on the usual retail websites, Steve ... no availability problems.

The good news is our air force can fly in crates of them to the States in Hercules transports.

The bad news is the relief effort would be commanded by Mel Gibson.

Keep in mind that west coast ports have just returned to normal operations after almost 6 months of a slow "work-to-rule" style strike. In my business, we deal extensively with shipping, and I know that it got as bad as shipping lines not taking shipments from Asia due to backlogs. This could account for why there is no stock on items.
Everything should be back to normal by now, or in the very near future.

That's how safe they are!

It's whispered that there's a vault containing thousands of unreleased MZ-Ds.

"To date there has been no production of salt in Montana."

This is from a mining release.

Now, perhaps they are being stored in our plentiful copper or gold mines. Or even at the bottom of the gigantic open pit in Butte, that's filled with water to safeguard them. Of course K3's are WR.
