Happy boy...

Just picked it up from our local UPS depot. Figured my new HD 35mm Limited would be a fine first lens to try on for size. Big difference in heft/quality of materials over my K-50. Loving the back AF buttons (on the grip, too). Extra battery + 2x 64GB mem card came in the mail today, so set for some fun this weekend

congrats! You'll love it! I came from the Kx, it was a world of difference. Never thought I'd use the grip, but I honestly don't how I'd do portraits without it. Looking forward to seeing how your weekend goes with it!

Congratz!
Love my K-3 as well. Just need to figure out how to be able to a second K-3 without my wife take notice of it

Hide the first one and order the second one. When the second one gets here tell her you had to send the first one away to get fixed and it just showed back up. I bet that would work

It'll be fun to compare the K-3 experience with my K-50. I've only been doing this for a little over a year, so these are the only two DSLRs I've owned. I've had a lot of fun with the K-50, and it will make for a nice backup kit. The gear guy in me said to wait for the FF, but the family man in me said it would be too expensive, and when I look at my experience level, the K-3 is probably a reach as it is. This will keep me going for a good long time

When the second one arrives meet the delivery guy outside, then sneak the box into a laundry bag and casually carry it into the room.

I did that with a lens. It works!

Yeah, my wife usually cringes when there's a package on our porch -- lol

I took a simpler route. I work from home so I just try to be there when the package arrives. By the time my wife gets home form work, the item is safely in my camera bag. I have a K5, K5-IIs and a K3. Pentax is on our side here as the three cameras look almost exactly alike.

Not sure how to handle the FF when it comes out.
