Originally posted by Dan Rentea Jatrax, I think that you are right. All photos needed different approach in terms of editing and all the presets which I've been using on K-5 II's photos can't be used on K-3 II's photos. But I'm starting all over and so far I really like the camera (except the short life of the battery).
My initial experience with the k-3 was somewhat disappointing. I had developed presets for the k-5 and then the k-5IIs and had been using them so long it never occurred to me they were all designed for a different sensor. I also read some early reviews of the k-3 that were not complimentary and suspect the same was true of the reviewers, just no experience with the new sensor.
Not sure about the battery life, I never really checked the k-3 but 500-600 sounds right. I got over 1,000 on the k-5 several times. But I rarely shoot more than 200-300 a day anyhow so not an issue for me. It has been my practice to pull the battery and put it in the charger at the same time I pull the SD card to transfer files. I also carry 4 spare batteries when I'm out and about. That covers me and my wife's camera plus spare bodies.

Also, check your camera calibration settings in Lightroom if you use that. With the k-5 sensor I preferred the Adobe profile but on the k-3 I think the embedded profile gives better results than the Adobe one. YMMV
