unable to display image on back display

Stareted to have this problem recently. after taking multiple photo's and wanting to view tham afterward it gives a message on the rear display of Image to large to be displayed. the Camera is running with 2 X 32 GB card. It is recording the Raw + Jpeg option. After reading a number of forums it seem to suggest that this may be a lens issue. But after using a couple of differant Lenses the fault still happens intermittently. I have just upgraded the firmware to 1.21 to see if it may get over the issue. I think i may have found the issue but would like someone else to conform if possible.
When taking multiple shots in quick succesion this may be causing the problem as i may be taking them as the camera is still writing the image to the Memory card. Any one come accross the error please.?

Could there be images left on the card that were shot with another camera?

the cards had both been freshly formated before use. as i was not using any bracketing or multiple frame capture at the time. It was just clicking away at a sports event.

Never had this problem. Try different modes example raw or jpeg but not together to see if the error doesn't come up again

thanks Randy for the advice i will give a try. if the error stops then Pentax/Ricoh should update the firmware to either disable the option or fix it.
