Firmware for K-3 II

Just bought a K-3 II (joy!) - with a high serial number so hoping for no problems.

Does the K-3 II have its own firmware or for this purpose foes it use K-3 firmware?

Cannot see any comments about this here on this forum or elsewhere.

Would be grateful for comments/advice.

I has its own firmware. The current version is 1.0.

Yup, there have been no updates for the K-3 II so far.
