camera reset

I tried a camera reset which I would assume puts all the settings back to the defaults listed in the manual. Interesting that after the reset a few settings remained and I'm wondering if that is normal.
For example:
Color Space remained at Adobe RGB (default is sRGB)
All Lens Corrections remained off (default is two of them on and two off)
Flicker Reduction remained at 60Hz (default is 50Hz)
Date and Time remained current but those I would not necessarily expect to reset

As most of us have never likely exercise this option, it's hard to know what to say here. Not really wanting to test it either and haven't used that option on my K10d, K20d, K100ds, K5, and K3.

I would imagine reset defaults are dependent on the cameras country code and not a generic manual.

I don't know about your other settings as as stated above am not going to test, but I did reset my American sourced k20d and British sourced K5 prior to selling

the k20d defaulted to NTSC so would imagine a USA or country with 60hz mains would default to 60hz
the K5 defaulted to PAL so would imagine a UK or country with 50hz mains would default to 50hz

The reset option in the menu doesn't completely wipe the camera settings, interestingly. For example, if you had set copyright information, that stays as well.

When I reset my K-5 II the copyright info was not removed, had to do that manually. There was a couple of other settings too, but I don't remember which ones.
