K-3 II and Sigma 18-35

My Sigma 18-35 always needed to be focused with live view (CDAF) on my K-3 at all focal lengths at f1.8.
I performed the same test on my K-3 II and now CDAF and PDAF focus properly.
I tested this under incandescent and natural lighting; at close and far distances and different subjects.
The lens had never been adjusted with the Sigma dock.
Can anyone else confirm that their K-3 II focuses better with the Sigma lens than their K-3 did?
Not sure if there was a change in the K-3 II that "fixed" the focus problem that the K-3 had with this lens.
Or maybe I just got lucky and all the planets aligned so that I don't need to use live view anymore!

Could be the latter, since there are some users who haven't had any issues with the 18-35mm whatsoever. Glad to hear it's working well!

That is very interesting...I have always been interested in this lens but the AF reports have scared me away. I would love to know if others with the K-3II have shared your experience.

Is this with K-3II or another body?
Thanks

Not only Sigma 18-35 works like a treat on my K3 II but all my other lenses focus properly with no microadjustments. And they all had to have some applied when used on K5II or K7 before.

Good to hear the lens works with more current camera bodies, too bad I skip a model every year or two. I'll be getting the Full frame K1, when my K5IIs and K10 die I'll be pretty much done with APS-C.

You might still need to get it as with zoom lenses focus does shift as components within the lens wear, many zoom lenses I have owned have exhibited this to some extent.
