Happy to report that I have been very pleased to have progressed from *ist DS to K-R to K-5 and now to K-3. Possibly moving to K-1 in the New Year?

Però bisogna dire che le 8,3 foto al secondo sono in AFS e quando la K3 è in AFC ne fa molto meno e spesso non riesce a mettere a fuoco. La 7200 in afc funziona molto meglio.

Maybe you should state what you want to say in English. Most people here will understand it better.

Rough translation from the Italian.

Ok but if I come out of 8fts only 2 good while with 6 fps leaving me 5 good ..... I like doing nature photos and more than a few times
I get angry because my K3 or clicks or clicks , but with a focus unsuitable . But when he can focus properly is a beautiful
drive

"But we must say that the 8.3 photos per second are in AFS and when the K3 is in the AFC makes it much less often and is unable to focus. The 7200 afc works much better.

Now I understand what he said and I agree that the 7200 has a better AF.

it only has better tracking AF. And it also depends on which lens you put on.

If you look closely at the D7200 it ain't so "amazing" burst is sorta sad at 6fps vs 8.3 for the K3ii, battery life is not up to the K3ii, buffer small compared to the K3ii this is really big if you are shooting raw, IQ is very similar since they both have the same sensor. The D7200 is also bulkier. The K3ii has pixel shift which under "controlled" circumstances can meet or beat many FF. Where the D7200 comes out on top is the autofocus and video as it has 1080p at 60fps.
I do not have a K3ii I am waiting for the upgrade.
Dear Pentax 1978
Ok -so in my original post saying that the D7200 wasn't so Amazing - I posted several areas where the K3II was better- I did say the d7200 had better auto focus. I also said that the Pentax had a much better burst rate as well a other things, that is still true. While you may be correct that the D7200 has a better keeper rate on continuous focus. Which I admitted to, burst rate has MANY other uses than just taking a picture of a bird. Also I would prefer to use manual focus for many wildlife shots because if your lens front or back focuses even a tiny bit it will be off in the distances quite often used in wildlife shooting.
So Dear Pentax 1978 please don't pick one small sentence out of a whole post to make an argument and if you love the D7200 so much why don't you just go buy one, hell! buy two!

Well, maybe the d7200 is better than the K-3II in many ways. However, my choice is still k-3II over the d7200 and k-5II over the d7000. There are other things that I considered before jumping into Pentax. Give or take a few things, I still like Pentax.

I'm sorry, but I have not read your article . I thought that being the photographers had to be " objective " and say it like it is . I've always had Pentax precisely since 1978 and so it is a brand that I love . But if the Pentax gives the opportunity to criticize it is not the fault of those critics . Switch to Nikon ? after all this time I'd hate to change but if, for example , according to the tests of " digitalcamera " we find a 150-450 that costs almost 2500 euro and is qualitatuvamente below a Sigma 50-500 that costs less than half and much lower than the Sigma 150-600 S costing 900 euro more .... why stay in Pentax ? Thanks for the advice I 'll do a little thought .

I'm sorry but I do not understand these controversies . The Pentax has given me so much satisfaction . His only weakness , I think, is just nell'aufofocus and is a defect we all Pentax fans we complain . I do not understand why one can not speak of making comparisons .

WOW,a camera mount in metal!!!

This sound like a new revolutionary feature, but I hope it will also have a lens mount.
I thought this to, but then you get the Sony a68 with a plastic mount

Probably the image quality of Pentax 150-450 would be better than sigma 150-600 sport. But considering the price and the reach, I would also choose sigma if it will be available for Pentax.
