My first K-3ii images

So I made the switch from my very good M43 system (GH4 with pro lenses) to the K-3ii. At first, I had very poor results, but that is to be expected from a new system. Now I'm getting the hang of it, and it's looking good. Here are some of my first images I'm willing to post.

Shot with K-3ii with 18-135mm lens, usually RAW, but no processing other than resizing in Phase One. I also have a 15mm f4 Ltd, a 31mm f1.9 Limited will soon be here, as will a 55-300mm DA WR. That should keep me occupied for a while!

Nice results, John! The glass you already have, and on the way, are great choices!

I note your shutter speeds are quite high... is there a reason for doing this? It's not a problem, of course, but the tree, for example, was shot at 1/500 and ISO 400... you could safely drop down on the shutter speed (given the focal length) to allow shooting at ISO 100. It won't yield a huge improvement, but ISO 100 vs ISO 400 will make some difference...

It looks like you are getting positive results. Just to see what they look like, you could try shooting some jpeg (if you want to), unless you have already decided to shoot just raw. I like the white birds shot in the water.

We need you to put some birdseed in Abe's hand so we can see the birds landing on it. Nice mages.
