Auto ISO perimeters

I have a basic idea on how the 3 modes work but haven't seen a difference when changing fron fast, normal, and slow.
Could someone please explain the real world difference?

Thanks

Randy

When using an automatic mode such as Av, your camera controls both the shutterspeed and ISO. By changing the ISO speed priority to fast, slow or normal, you tell the camera which of the 2 things it controls to give priority. When using ISO slow, it prioritizes changing the shutterspeed and tries to change the ISO a little as possible. This is useful when nothing in your scene is moving and you want to prioritize cleaner ISO levels but longer shutters. Normal is a nice balance of the 2. Fast prioritizes changing the ISO and changes the shutter as little as possible. This is more useful when you have moving subjects and you'll take a noisier image to keep the shutterspeed up.
